Launched in 2004 by An Tanaiste Mary Harney (Deputy Prime Minister, Ireland), Sigma Aviation Services is well established and respected in the aviation industry. It remained part of the Sigmar group of companies until early 2009, when the company was acquired by one of its original founders, Mr. John Barry, former CEO of Sigmar Group.
